Featured Volunteer – Katharine Hale

Katharine is a 21 year old Beaumont native and graduate of West Brook High School. She is currently completing her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Child Care and Development at Lamar Institute of Technology. She began volunteering at the Food Bank because of a need of hours for her classes but she has continued as a volunteer here beyond the hours she needed. We are proud of her and appreciate her sweet spirit and great attitude. She always shows up with a smile and encouraging word. Lasting Until December 5, 2013 Share Your Christmas is an annual joint collaborative effort between the Southeast Texas Food Bank and KBMT to raise funds and collect food to sustain the Food Bank through the high demand holiday season.
