Band Uncle Lucius Raises Money for SETX and TFBN

Uncle Lucius and their lead singer Kevin Galloway are fighting hunger in Texas. The story of hunger is known all too well by Galloway, and in turn The Uncle Lucius Band donates proceeds from their music and shows to help end hunger in Texas.

On Sunday June 2nd, Uncle Lucius played at Courville’s in Beaumont and donated a portion of the show’s proceeds to The Southeast Texas Food Bank. After the show, Galloway went above and beyond and auctioned off his guitar from the performance. All in all, Uncle Lucius donated over 3,000 dollars to The Southeast Texas Food Bank.

The Southeast Texas Food Bank would like to thank Uncle Lucius and Courville’s for their help in fighting against hunger in Southeast Texas. More information about Uncle Lucius, and their upcoming tour with Shooter Jennings, can be found at www.uncleluciusmusic.com.

More information about Courville’s can be found at courvillesconcerts.com.

Did you know that a $10 donation can provide up to 30 meals for desperate people in your community? By making a donation, you are helping to ensure that hungry children in Southeast Texas are adequately nourished, that none of our senior citizens are forced to chose between medicine and food, and that every family facing a crisis can at least have the assurance of food on the table.

Your gift goes a long, long way!
