Local Brookshire Brothers stores will be supporting the Great American Milk Drive from September 9 – December 1. That drive aims to help food banks get as much access to fresh milk for those receiving food as possible since this is a very difficult commodity to provide to clients.
Brookshire Brothers shoppers will be asked to donate up to $5 when competing their shopping transaction at store registers. Then, the total donated will be converted into coupons for free milk at Brookshire Brothers which the Southeast Texas Food Bank will receive to distribute to partner agencies in Brookshire Brothers store communities so they can assist their clients in accessing more milk.
