Delivering Hope for the Holidays

As usual at this time of year, we have been privileged to support many food distribution events focused on the holiday season. Thousands of families will have brighter holidays because of the food shared with them through these events. Unfortunately, the lines remain long in this COVID-affected year, but the food and supplies provided thanks to our generous donors and supporters shines the brightness of hope to so many.

We share here some images from a couple events as a way to say thanks and depict your impact. We show our recent support of the Reaud Foundation’s Bikes and Bibles Event where we supplemented the giving of bicycles, Bibles, clothing and sporting goods to a thousand children with holiday food for their families, as well as the United Way of Beaumont & North Jefferson County’s Hope for the Holidays event held at Lamar University’s Montagne Center. The latter event was sponsored by ExxonMobil and Zachry Group. Some holiday meal food and other items, a gift card from HEB, prescription cards, and children’s books brought some holiday spirit to life and captured the widespread support of the Southeast Texas community for its neighbors in need.

Thanks to all whose generosity of time and funding have made our holiday season distributions possible!

Did you know that a $10 donation can help provide up to 40 meals for desperate people in your community? Rest assured, that every penny of your donation will be stretched to it’s maximum effect. By making a donation, you are helping to ensure that hungry children in Southeast Texas are adequately nourished, that none of our senior citizens are forced to chose between medicine and food, and that every family facing a crisis can at least have the assurance of food on the table.

Your gift goes a long, long way!
