The Southeast Texas Food Bank “Enrichment Garden” gives our volunteers of all ages, an opportunity to till up that soil, plant, harvest and start again.
The Garden started in April 2020 during COVID-19 and it has been a fabulous opportunity for families to come share time together, learning basic gardening. Volunteer Services has taken on the growing task, teaching young and old Southeast Texans not only to nourish bodies, but also to nourish their souls.
It only takes a few supplies and faith the size of a mustard seed to get the job done, trash can become rich soil, old containers can become mini garden pots so the more help that we get, the more love we can put into the garden.
