We are glad to celebrate the heritage of farming and good nutrition with a special community event on Saturday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. In conjunction with Lamar University’s Big Event which sends volunteers into the community to show Lamar’s support for a variety of initiatives, we will hold a produce and milk giveaway, as well as educational engagements to highlight the benefits of farming in our culture.
