Jazzie & Jimmy’s Spring Food Drive

Our spring food and fund drive is wrapping up today, but it’s not too late to stop by and make a contribution. The Food Bank has teamed up with JJO Radio, United Way of Beaumont and North Jefferson County and Walmart to host a food drive to help restock our warehouse. Donated goods will help support our neighbors facing food insecurity due to COVID-19 as well as those recovering from the recent winter storm. Stop by the parking lot of Walmart at 4145 Dowlen Rd. in Beaumont to make a donation. Or host your own virtual food drive. To find out how, contact Tamara at 409-839-8777 x 116.

The mission of the Texas WIC (Women, Infants & Children) program is to improve the health of low-income women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk.

Did you know that a $10 donation can help provide up to 40 meals for desperate people in your community? Rest assured, that every penny of your donation will be stretched to it’s maximum effect. By making a donation, you are helping to ensure that hungry children in Southeast Texas are adequately nourished, that none of our senior citizens are forced to chose between medicine and food, and that every family facing a crisis can at least have the assurance of food on the table.

Your gift goes a long, long way!
