One of our most enthusiastic volunteers here at the Southeast Texas Food Bank works in the School Tools Program. Linda Faraci comes to the School Tools Supply Room two days a week to help select and pack school supplies for the teachers whose students qualify for the assistance. She is the model for customer service and understands the important role teachers play in the success of their students. Linda retired from teaching after 37 years of service. Her “claim to fame” is being the “The Best Granny in SETexas”. The stories about the adventures with her grandchildren are so interesting to listen to. Linda will ALWAYS greet the teachers and when they leave she ALWAYS says “Thank You for Being a Teacher”. For her dedication to over three decades of service in teaching and volunteer work, we are proud to have her added to the outstanding Volunteer of the Month recipients here at South East Texas Food Bank.
