Just two years after Hurricane Harvey’s devastation in Southeast Texas, we have been visited by similar devastation by Tropical Storm Imelda’s sweep through our region. Our response will include initial support of emergency shelters and our partner agencies in the community with disaster aid, as we simultaneously assess and determine what portions of our region are most in need of direct disaster product distribution from us. When we are able to do so, we will then initiate direct distributions of product to the public and promote the timing and location of those distributions.
In the meantime, we encourage those in need of assistance due to Tropical Storm Imelda to monitor the following forms of information to receive help:

We also appreciate all support which can be offered in the wake of the storm.
Our greatest needs after a disaster are for financial contributions that give us the resiliency and flexibility needed to respond and for volunteerism that can help us execute our response.
