Families with children who received free or reduced meals through their schools last school year are eligible for an additional pandemic-related food assistance benefit as a form of supplemental nutrition assistance.
Families already receiving SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits have already had P-EBT supplemental funding added to their EBT cards. Other families not already receiving SNAP assistance can now apply for P-EBT aid. Our Social Services Enrollment staff is capable of assisting with this application process and answering questions. Please call 409-839-8777 ext. 121 for help.
Also, please see the Frequently Asked Questions guidance provided by the Health and Human Services Commission about the P-EBT benefit.
