Pappas asks guests to “Bite to Fight Hunger”

Help Pappas Restaurants end hunger nationwide by taking a “Bite to Fight Hunger.” Indulge in your favorite dessert and support the South East Texas Food Bank.

Mmmm … Vanilla Cheesecake, delicious homemade Pecan Pie and so much more! Don’t miss a delicious opportunity to order a mouthwatering dessert Monday, Oct. 7 through Sunday, Oct. 13 at your neighborhood Pappas Restaurant.  A portion of the proceeds from each dessert will be donated to the South East Texas Food Bank to help fight hunger. Pappas Restaurants will donate $1 from every dessert purchased, up to $55,000. Pappadeaux, 4040 IH-10 South, in Beaumont is among the restaurants participating.

Did you know that a $10 donation can help provide up to 40 meals for desperate people in your community? Rest assured, that every penny of your donation will be stretched to it’s maximum effect. By making a donation, you are helping to ensure that hungry children in Southeast Texas are adequately nourished, that none of our senior citizens are forced to chose between medicine and food, and that every family facing a crisis can at least have the assurance of food on the table.

Your gift goes a long, long way!
