SETX Food Bank Volunteer from Lamar receives prestigious nomination

Beaumont Enterprise Article, July 21, 2014

Lamar linebacker Logan Moss has been nominated to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, the most prestigious off-the-field honor in college football. Moss, an Orangefield native, organized a group of players to volunteer at the local food bank and spoke to the local middle school students about anti-bullying. Past members of the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team include Super Bowl champion quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning and Heisman Trophy winners Robert Griffin III and Tim Tebow.

The staff here at the SETX Food Bank wish to add our congratulations to Logan and thank him for his spirit of volunteerism and origination for putting together the group to volunteer. They did an outstanding job with every task they were given. We look forward to seeing more of Logan and the Lamar Football Team.
