Souper Bowl of Caring in Southeast Texas

 

The Southeast Texas Food Bank would like to thank Kroger for their generous donation in the fight against hunger in Southeast Texas.

Kroger Food Store, located at 3965 Dowlen Road in Beaumont recently presented a check to The Southeast Texas Food Bank on behalf of the store’s participation in The Souper Bowl of Caring.

The Souper Bowl is a national drive to help end hunger and poverty within the United States.  The Souper Bowl of caring is a registered 501c3, more information is available at http://www.souperbowl.org.

Did you know that a $10 donation can provide up to 30 meals for desperate people in your community? By making a donation, you are helping to ensure that hungry children in Southeast Texas are adequately nourished, that none of our senior citizens are forced to chose between medicine and food, and that every family facing a crisis can at least have the assurance of food on the table.
