Support the Summer Food Drive – August 21-24

Radio personalities Jammin’ Jimmy Olson and Jazzie Redd will be in the parking lot at the Walmart store located at 4145 Dowlen Road in Beaumont, Texas from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 21 – Monday, August 24 to promote a special summer food drive to help add to community food supplies for those in need during the COVID-19 crisis. Stop by to drop off non-perishable food or purchase a little extra during a shopping visit to Walmart and leave it behind to be shared with those struggling to feed themselves.

Dial 2-1-1 for free, bilingual information and referrals for food assistance and other health and human services.

The mission of the Texas WIC (Women, Infants & Children) program is to improve the health of low-income women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk.
